MAMMOTH DOODLES
Socialization and Training & Early Neurological Stimulation
Early Neurological Stimulation, (ENS) was developed by the U.S. Military as part of the Superdog program (formerly known as Biosensor). Studies suggest that brief exposures to minimal stress stimuli between the ages of 3-16 days old can have a lasting impact on the health of a dog.
Our puppies individually receive daily ENS during this time frame. Aside from the proposed heath benefits, training has created puppies who will contently lay on their backs, be held in a variety of positions without nipping, and are compliant with having their feet touched.
Grooming Training
The benefit of a low-shed dog, comes with the trade off of a relatively high maintenance coat. Regular grooming is a necessity, but we've put hours worth of training into making it a better experience for you and your dog.
Puppies have had training with the following skills:
Bathing
Towel Drying
Sounds of the blow dryer and clippers.
Having shiny objects near their face (prep for scissors).
Brushing and Combing
Nail Trimming
Complying with ear and teeth checks.
Having their feet touched.
Puppy Culture
Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture Protocols daily.
Our puppies have the been introduced to and have a foundation for the following skills:
Kennel Training
Potty Training
Interacting with other dogs and cats.
Being handled and playing with children.
Problem Solving
Tolerating Loud Noises
Wearing a Collar
Complying with Grooming
Early Scent Introduction
Sound Training
Socialization includes getting used to a wide variety of stimuli. Puppy Culture Protocol incorporates steps to making sure new noises don't stress your puppy out. We spend extra time each day familiarizing your puppy with a wide variety of noises so you can hopefully enjoy things like thunderstorms and fireworks with your dog.
